Wes finished first in the American Historic Racing Motorcycle Association’s timed and observed off-road event. The first Scott Trial was held in 1914 when Alfred Angus Scott, founder of the Scott Motorcycle Company, challenged his workers to ride from the factory in Shipley through the Yorkshire Dales to Burnsall in England.
